Samsung Adds Blood Pressure Tracking to Galaxy Watches in the US

Samsung Electronics Co. is rolling out blood pressure monitoring on many of its smartwatches in the US, expanding availability of an increasingly popular feature offered on fitness-tracking devices. The feature, set to launch in the US on Tuesday, will allow some Galaxy Watch owners to track their blood pressure from their wrist, the company said in a statement. To use the tool, which will roll out to the Galaxy Watch 4 and newer models, users must download the Samsung Health Monitor app and complete an initial calibration using a third-party blood pressure cuff.
